Mindy McCready's boyfriend and father of her child David Wilson was found dead on Sunday evening at his Herber Springs, Arkansas home.
"David was my soulmate," the country crooner, 37, told People in a statement about the late singer-songwriter. "He was a precious gift from God to all of us and, yesterday, he returned home and is now with his mother and father. David loved and was loved. Those who knew and loved him will miss him; those who did know know David missed the opportunity to know a truly loving and gifted man."
According to the website, Wilson died of "undisclosed causes."

McCready and Wilson had been together for about two years, and share a 9-month-old son named Zayne (McCready has an older son Zander with country singer Billy McKnight).
As of late, no funeral plans have been set, though the services are thought to take place in Arkansas.
